there will be another, more substantial update tonight, but for now, all i have to say is that i spent the majority of my drive to work this morning in first gear.

you got that right, folks, first gear. first gear, best used at speed of up to, but not exceeding 10 mph.

the thing is, people see all this cold white stuff on the ground and they FREAK OUT and start thinking about those Y2K fantasies we all fostered so lovingly...being stuck in the middle of nowhere, having to eat wool blankets and drink moose pee to keep hydrated...ah yes, the closeted pioneer in us all.

back to my point, which was, people get so caught up in these fantasies that they actually forget to drive! at least, that's the only way i can explain it.

do you have any ideas?
